Who knew you can curse, rap, sing, twerk, scream, and praise God all in one place?

The BET Awards 2012 hosted in Los Angeles was just that place. 

A lot happened at the BET Awards 2012: D’ Angelo performed for the first time in years, the late Whitney Houston was remembered in a show-stopping performance, KimYE donned matching outfits. 

One of the highlights featured Mariah Carey, one of the speakers for the late Whitney Houston tribute. Whitney Houston’s mother gave a rousing performance of “Bridge Over Troubled Waters.”

It was an emotional moment. Soulja Boy sheddin’ tears during the tribute. It got THAT real, real thugs cry too. 

One of my absolute fav performers was Usher, who melted the stage with his performance of “Climax,” the super-sensual hit of his. With a song like that, it confuses me why his shirt isn’t off. Where’s those abs at Usher?! Don’t be shy, it ain’t trickin’ if you got it. 

Nicki Minaj was workin’ it, twerkin it. As the recipient of the best female hip-hop artist, she wasn’t afraid to do work on the stage, doing the robot as she goes into full Roman Mode. 

Oh! Is that the sun coming out? Oh no, it’s actually my girl, Queen B herself stuntin’ on all. 

B looking at Kim like, “What are you doing here?” and Kim laughing nervously because she’s never been around this many black people. It’s ok, KimYe lookin’ cool in their all white everything. 

Yo Kimye, I love y’all and all and imma let u finish but… Kanyay-Z is the sh*t best bros in the game.
