If there’s anything I love more than awesome people, it’s awesome people coming together for a great cause. Last evening in Los Angeles, Family Equality Council celebrated the progress we’ve made as a community of loving families towards full equality, with the release of Dan Bucatinsky’s Does This Baby Make Me Look Straight? 

People coming together to celebrate tolerance, the air is full of love. Aww yeahhh. 

The book, as Neil Patrick Harris describes is “Dan’s book of parental (mis)adventures,” and provides a hilarious and unique glimpse into the life of a gay dad. I wonder if my dog Diesel makes me look straight? I mean..how could a teacup Yorkshire Terrier who wears pastel polos make you NOT look straight?!

Hilarious and witty, it had Neil Patrick Harris riding on LOL-er blades! 

Dan had the help of some awesome ladies to help with the reading of his book: the hilarious Molly Shannon is clearly crackin’ up as she’s reading along. 

Melissa Etheridge and the audience are enthralled with the plot of Dan’s mis-adventures as a gay dad.

Minnie Driver listening intently as Sandra Oh narrates a thought provoking passage from the novel: How will the baby know I’m its daddy?
